Cooker hoods, also known as extractor hoods, work by removing grease, odour and steam, which are caused during cooking. They function in one of two ways, by either recirculating the air using a filter or removing the air from the kitchen via a ducting system.

There are a variety of hoods available. Some of which can be concealed, as part of the worktop, under kitchen cabinets or behind a door panel, and others which are central to the kitchen.

When choosing an extractor hood it is important to consider the extraction rate, noise level and installation of the appliance.

Extractor hoods are a key element to everybody's kitchen. They function as both a practical and aesthetically pleasing appliance.
